Winners of Reallusion's CrazyTalk Animator 3, Animation@Work 2018 Competition Announced

As promised in my post showcasing my own entry into Reallusion's Animation@Work Competition for 2018, this is my post letting you know the winners have been announced.

This time my entry didn't even manage a special mention, unlike my entry from four years ago that won a Best Animation award in its category despite being shorter, taking less time to make, and featuring far less technical skill and actual animation, than my current entry.

The fact is, in four years, awareness of CrazyTalk Animator, and the number of people who've become proficient with it has grown to a more competitive field. Demonstrated by the overall winner from 2014's competition, Garry Pye, coming in at third place with an animation that is easily streets ahead of his work with CTA from four years ago.


Overall that's a good thing for Reallusion, CTA, and the CTA community. Especially CTA content creators interested in building a viable business in the Reallusion Content Market Place. Here's hoping the competition will only get bigger and continue to improve in quality in the years ahead.

With that said, in my opinion, some of the winning animations feel like they're at the level of network television animation, and wouldn't look out of place in a line up of Saturday morning cartoons. I've embeded the first place winners in each of the three categories below. You can view all the winners and special mention animations on the Winners Page.

Learning Moho Pro 12 (Anime Studio Pro) - Part 11, New Features V12 Debut and Pro Videos 1-8

Pin Bones - Moho 12 It really has been a marathon of video watching and at this point I'm down to the final 18 Moho tutorial videos that came with my software purchase. These videos focus specifically on the new features of Moho Debut and Pro 12 . I'm eager to get through these as quickly as possible so, let's get straight to it. You'll find my previous post here . TET Project Updates - What Am I Working On Going Forward?

Since the last time I did a Project Update Post  back in April I've become better organised by finally embracing Get It Done which is, in my opinion, the best of the many time management applications I've tried. #notsponsored. Anyhow I amalgamated all my task lists into that app so, whilst I can't physically work on every project I've started, thought about, got bored of etc. They're all listed, and at least not forgotten.
